When dedicated, conscientious, but timid Karl is assigned to spy on the boss of a car rental service by his employer, he sets about the task diligently until he meets easy-going fun-seeking Hans. Unabashed, Hans goes for what he likes—a spin in a Porsche, beautiful women—and he gets them. Before long, Karl discovers he’s found a true buddy, his own joie de vivre—and the nerve to try his hand at love.

Sebastian Schipper
studied acting at the Falckenburg Schule in Munich, and his acting credits include THE ENGLISH PATIENT (1996), MAJA (1996), WINTERSLEEPERS (WINTERSCHLÄFER, 1997), RUN LOLA RUN (LOLA RENNT, 1998), EINE UNGEHORSAME FRAU (TV, 1998) and DER KÖNIG VON ST. PAULI (TV, 1998). His short films include WUNDERHELL (1994) and HELDENSOMMER (1995), and his feature directorial debut was GIGANTIC (ABSOLUTE GIGANTEN, 1999).
