Agnes is very competent. A respected medical scientist, she provides for her husband Walter, daughter Leni, and occasionally for her red-headed sister Karola, who teaches tango. When Karola chases a fling to Andalusia, Agnes steps in to fulfill Karola’s house-sitting commitment and begins to gradually piece together the private lives of the absent couple. Fascinated, she begins to neglect her work and family in favor of staying in the apartment and solving the relationship mystery. One day, as she is resting in the increasingly familiar bed the man returns and joins her in silence. The two hearts—one estranged, the other broken—find each other in an unexpected collusion. --Petra Wehle

Director

Lola Randl
was born in 1980 in Munich; studied at the Cologne Academy of Media Arts (2001-2006) and graduated from the Munich Screenwriting Workshop in 2007. During her studies she made short films including AFTERNOON PROGRAM (2004) and FEEL GOOD WEEKEND (2006). She worked on the films alternately as screenwriter, director, editor, producer and cinematographer. DAYS IN BETWEEN is her feature film debut and was screened at the Berlin Film Festival.
